Whilst hubby is watching the football

I’m trying to get organised!  I’m sifting through all my scribbled bits of paper that has websites on and list of things to do going through the organiser on the phone an’all – which has been my diary for the past few weeks waiting till Santa (OK a loved one) brought me a proper one.

I actually got 2 diaries for Christmas which I’m pleased about one was from hubby and the pther a young guy who I line manage at work.  The one that hubby brought is a “MetoYou” one – you know the grey teddy with the blue nose?  He Tatty Ted is our symbol.  He has been since our early days.  You may have gathered that Hubby has to go to hospital and has ops.  There is a reason and later on I promise I will do a more about me page and briefly mention it then.  When I found out I went out and brought hubby a card with Tatty Ted on – the card read the greatest thing about our friendship is you! So hence it is our symbol.  This diary is going to be used as a Meal Planner in a bid to be organised, save money and use up all the food in the house.  Presently due to Christmas there is enough food to sink a couple of ships and to feed the sailors at the same time!

The one from the guy I line manage is a fab personal organiser (otherwise known as a Filofax).  This one is funky and a bit quirky like me and in colours that I adore!  Like a good girl I’ve already said thank you – however this being the modern age I’ve done it via Twitter!

The other slip of paper I’ve found is some aims that I want to acheive next year.  You can call them New Year’s Resoultions.  I call them something else.  I’ll be pondering these over the next few days since the day is coming up also I’ve been asked to lead a Bible Study on the subject. I find the whole thing a bit fancinating – so watch out my thoughts will be written down here for the whole world to see and to see if I achieve them! LOL!!

Merry CHRISTmas! :D

I subscribe to This Day’s Thought  and the other day they sent a message which reads:

There was a gift for each of us left under the tree of life 2000 years ago by Him whose birthday we celebrate today.  The gift was withheld from no man.  Some have left the packages unclaimed.  Some have accepted the gift and carried it around, but have failed to remove the wrappings and look inside to discover the hidden splendor.  The packages are all alike:  In each is a scroll on which is written, “All that the Father hath is thine.”  Take and live!

I think it’s very adapt and invite you to untie the gifts God gives you and enjoy this Christmas!
