A few weeks ago I went to a charity fashion show with a friend. There was a raffle and I won a wonderful prize of a night in a hotel in Chester which included dinner and breakfast 🙂
OH and I used took advantage and booked for Bank Holiday. Today I have spent the day wondering round Chester and admiring the wonderful architecture. There is so much to see and do!
Before we went I had googled gluten free places to eat. Marmalade came up in the search.
The menu is made up of various salads, jacket potatoes, soup and sandwiches. All the soups are gluten free and they can be served with gluten free bread. The sandwich fillings are also gluten free and can be made up using gluten free bread. The staff are knowledgeable and checked when hubby ordered his food if he required gluten free bread.
One other thing all the cakes including the cheesecake are gluten free 🙂 They also have gluten free scones. I’m not going to discuss the right way of eating scones but bearing in mind I rarely eat them I just got into a mess – but it was delicious 🙂
If I’m ever up there again I’m definitely going back!
